There has been a trend of prioritizing animal care over human famine. Two opposite opinions are given on the topic, while i stand for equal distribution of help without belittling the significance of anyone.
Nowadays the number of pet services is going up. To start with, more and more people tend to exaggerate the importance of care towards their pets buying them costly outfits, accessories, animal houses. Moreover, the initial function of domestic animal was to serve people and assist them in the household whereas today pet owners spend a lot of time and financial resources on providing them with extra and pointless comforts. At last, vet services have been on demand recent decade due to the big number of illnesses got developed after pet owners’ concerns about health of their little ones lead to major issues with vulnerable and fragile immune system which is unable to fight against seasonal diseases.
Speaking about the opposite point of view which states that domestic animals are surrounded by all kinds of comfort, provided with emotional and physical care and perceived as crucial part of the family. Firstly, for some people it is definitely crucial to adopt the pet because of the inability to have their own children. While having a pet, they can redirect their grief and sorrow to the little ones which need support, love and care. Secondly, it is scientifically proven that home animals are able to heal key mental illnesses like depression, post-partum adaption and loss of sense of living.
In conclusion, overestimated animal care has overshadowed the issue of global famine. Nevertheless, i am for leading a balanced way of living and being helpful for both domestic animals and human beings.
