Globalisation lead to advancement in various sectors. One of the rapidly roaring area is tourism sector. In my opinion,I agree with the former view that development in tourism industry boost the global economy because of reasons such as it facilitates with vast job opportunities as well as attracts tourists from distinct places to spend lavishly on luxury they provide.
Firstly, one reason of my agreement is, to run such large sector it asks for numerous employees. Locals are benefited with varieties of jobs such as employment in tourist guides, package counsellor as well as management department. To elaborate it, this work opportunities makes an individual’s life self-reliant and eventually contributes to economy of the nation as well as world. Secondly, another reason why I am in favour that tourism sector directly deals with world’s economy is that ,upgradation and enhancement in this sector becomes eye-catching for travellers as a result of which more tourists are attracted to explore various places. To exemplify, explorers provided with cost-effective package as well as effortless journey tends to spend openly on amenities they got benefited with.
In contrast, there are some people who have notion that tourism cause detrimental effect on indigenous culture and environment on the ground that more the tourist visits the places more are the chances of pollution which subsequently contributes to global burning problem of global warming . People due to lack of discipline and knowledge throw litter anywhere thereby, causing the land pollution. Thus, proliferation in tourism sector is not much beneficial to some people
In conclusion, though there are people who might not be in favour I agree with it because global economy is far much of concern in present time due to modifications in every sectors.
