Flourishing tourism was always debatable has become more controversial in the recent years as many people believe its detrimental while others reject the notion. The recent trend in the tourism has sparked the debate on the long term impact on environment which need to be addressed properly. I completely agree with the first statement as it seems more rational. This essay will further elaborate the point favoring my views on the negative impact of tourism on natural stability of the earth.
Analyzing the issue and explaining further, the world has experienced the most heinous natural disasters in the recent years. It includes heavy rainfall, floods, draughts and extreme hot weather conditions from the Asia to America. The first and foremost reason behind this is that the climate change caused by deforestation and man made infrastructure for tourism. Tourism disturbing natural eco system and destroying balance of species and forests.
Additionally, tourism has adverse effect on the local host community as well as the environment creating more waste with more carbon emission into the air. Already many countries felt the drawbacks of this and restricted the tourists in the vulnerable areas.
On the other hand, tourism creates foreign currency and employment for the host country. Several countries economy depend on the income from tourism as well as provide opportunity for people to explore the exquisite of nature. Students and researchers get to know the world history and heritage with live examples visiting these places.
