The fact that the rate of tourism is increasing rapidly over the last 50 years, which having a huge negative effect to local enviroment, however, it also has large advantages in the economy. In this report, I will discuss both two views of this situation .
On the negative hand, the large number of tourists can have a huge damage to this country’s habitat. The rate of polluted in many attracted cities are increasing significantly besides the increase of tourists these cities have. Especially in the air and the number of rubbish, when the development of tourism is grow up, the number of transports and emissons will increase and lead to the air polluted. Furthermore, not all visitors have a good aware to protect and keep our environment clean, they are often throw the rubbish away in the roads or in to water and make a dangerous damage to this city’s water resource.
On the other hand, we cannot deny that tourism has the huge impact on one country’s economy, especially in small country. Many cities in the world have the major income from tourism, where well-know as “tourist city”. Moreover, developing tourism also is the good way to advertise their culture for the world. For example, in Viet Nam, many traditional dishes are recognized and be famous in the world by tourists such as Pho, banh mi, Bun Cha Ca..
In conclusion, I believe that the developing of tourism is very useful for improving one country, however, the government and residents have to find the way to control and upgrade the visitors aware to protect their environment not be polluted.
