The isuue of the role of Cultural awareness in sustaining traditional lifestyle is growing rapidly around the globe for the time being. This is a worrying trend, since it result in loss of traditional knowledge. From my perspective, the most detrimental outcomes of this problem is the young ignore the elderly and their traditions, together with children should learn more from grandparents can be considered as viable solutions to it.
One of the most widespread and significant effects of this problem is the elderly are no longer a source of wisdom and for young people today who do not value their traditions. For example, in some families, children no longer speak their native language at home, even though their grandparents do. This creates a communication gap and slowly earses cultural identity. If this trend continues, valuable traditions and wisdom that have been passed down for generations may be lost forever.
In order to resolve this isuue I deem that its root causes should be first addressed. Perhaps the most effective method of doing this would be schools and parents should encourage children to learn more from their grandparents. For exampe, schools can organize evants like “Grandparents Day”, where children invite their granparents to share stories or traditional skills such as cooking or folk tales. At home, parents can support this by creating oppotyunities for kids to talk with their grandparents about their childhood, culture, and past expriences. This not only helps preserve traditions but also teaches children to appreciate their roots.
By way of conclusion, I reckon that preserving traditions in the face of modernization triggering the young ignore the elderly and their traditions, is clearly a problem of such complexity that no suluyion is likcly in the short team. Nonetheles, Ibelieve that children should learn more from grandparents would constitute a vary good first steap.
