Today the problem of traffic congestion has become one of the meaningful problems. Frequently, this problem is widespread in megacities. As a result, citizens suffers from traffic jams and loss of time. So, in this essay I will suggest my own solution, and discuss causes on issues by my own opinion.
First, one of the main reasons of traffic congestion is roads. Roads is the only cover that provide smooth traffic flow, however every cover have its time of exploitation. For example, asphalt’s damage time is almost 3 years. However, if after exploitation time roads will not be fixed it leads to enormous traffic jams due to crushes and accidents. As a result, damaged roads can generate huge problems for citizens.
Second cause of traffic problems is overcrowding. Citizens in the big cities such as Almaty, New York and Moscow suffers from traffic congestion every day, because these cities were not calculated for this amount of people. Thus traffic jams is a regular situation. However, even if the first cause is fixed, it does not guarantee that problems with traffic will fix.
First measure can be reconstructing roads. In my point of view, this solution can bring immediate result especially in the suburbs. For example, roads in the suburbs of the Almaty are damaged and cause traffic jams, therefore if roads are reconstructed, it will exploit once it was built. As a result, new roads can reduce commute time and traffic jams and traffic regulations.
Second measure is extension the city. In my opinion, extension the city or built new city will bring immediate result like new roads. However, to provide correct resettlement the government should carry about better quality of materials in construction and comfortable buildings. Furthermore, accurate routs should be considered first, because location of building and routs influence strongly on generating the traffic flow.
