One of the widely discussed issues nowadays has been related to that educational institutions should take the same quantity of male and female in every profession.Personally,I completely disagree with this point of view primarily because it limits individual freedom of choice and may leads to a decrease in the quality of education.
It is a common knowledge that nearly 80% of men give preference to technical or science direction,while many women interests in fashion or choose humanitarian option.For example,universities accept equal number of students from both genders,however,the majority of them want to study in science field.Consequently,this situation leads to discrimination against personal choice and learners may feel pressure from the Ministry of Education.
Furthermore,it can negatively impact to level of education.For the reason that personalities will be forced to study in areas that they did not choose.For example, a university might reject a highly qualified male applicant in computer science just to meet the gender quota, accepting a less-prepared female applicant instead.This compromises academic standards.In addition, many students will lose motivation to get knowledge,which will weaken competition.Therefore,intellectual and educational standards,within 10 years will dramatically decline.
Having weighted everything mentioned up,I would come up into conclusion that I strongly oppose the idea of requiring universities to admit the equal number of men and women in every major.As a result, it has a poor consequences to interest in study and future learn
