Some individuals state that undergraduated students should spend most of their time for academic courses and it is also important for extracurricular activities. From my perpestive, I agree with these opinions.
Specialized knowledge have benefits for university students to promote career prospects. To specific, learners can be equipped esstential skills for various fields through researchs and lectures. In the world of increasingly competitive job market, people with high levels of experiences has the potential to get a job and climb the ladder, which gives them chances to have high income. As a result, they contribute more taxes and create values for society, ultimately improving social stability in postive ways, including economy, science or culture; thereby, the living standard of residents is also enhanced significantly such as health systems or infracstucture.
However, extracurricular activities should not be overlooked to ensure students’ comprehensive development. Students can engage in clubs and societies, which promotes their soft skills, namely group performance, leadership or time allocation. Furthermore, participating in community activities allows students to create more relationships to build communication skills valuable for their personal career path. In addition, balancing among studying and social relationships will help the mentality to take a rest and mitigate stress; hereby improve overall well-being.
In conclusion, I believe that studying plays an important roles for job requirement and build a stable specialized foundation; however, it will be better if students can combine with other activities, as it is the best ways for a sustainable development.
