Nowadays, many older adults spend their time on internet. Whatever they read online. they believe blindly either it is wrong information. That is why, youngesters help them. So, they can use internet safely. There are advantages and disadvantages to this.
One key advantage is that olders can learn new skills from the youngesters. They do not feel hesitation when they learn at home from theirs family members. For example, my grandfather always felt bored after his retirement. He always tried to use facebook and youtube. But he could not use them properly. My younger brother trained him well. After that, he was able to post his pictures, ideas and other things on Facebook. He also became expert in using Youtube as well.
On the other hand, youngesters can be irritated and get angery if olders take time to learn and unable to understand using new things. For example, my uncle taught to my grandmother how to call on whatsapp. But whenever, she had to make a call, she asked from my uncle how to call. It created stress to my uncle and he lost his temprament. he got angry and used harsh words for my grandmothers.
In conclusion, teaching oplder adults to use the internet has both merits and demerits. In my opinion, it is more useful and beneficial than harmful because it keeps them secure online.
