Band 5+: Vehicles using alternative fuel have been available for a few years, yet they are not common on the roads. What are the reasons for this? How can people be encouraged to use these vehicles?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Through different forms of print and digital media, we come across reports that the avilability of alternate fuels for vehicles are vital than compare to past, still they are not fully in use. This can be attributed to some factors. Every trouble has panaceas and this is not an exception.

The main reason behind this is that lack of awareness in individuals. This view exists as many people do not understande environmental benefits and long-term savings of these vehicles. As a result, They only realy on that common available fuels, which they use from the past. In addition to this, the other possible reason is the expence of those fuels. By this, I mean that electrical and others alternative fuels can be more expensive in compare to petrol and diesel. Consequently, to maintain their overall budget or to genrate extra revenue, they use such fuels rather than others. I can cite a paradigm for this. Accordiing to the recent resherches, Most of the owners of these vehicles do not know about the benefit this alternative fuels can bring, so they continue to use priviousely available fuels, which are also cheap than those newly addresed one.

It would be vital to take some steps to overcome from this issue. To begin with, public awareness campaignes can play a important role in this situation, by giving them information about environment benefits. Evenmore, it would be advisable that manufacture companies should be encouraged to produce affordable alternative-fuel vehicles. So that more vehicle owners prefer them. I opine that media can make a huge difference by highlighting this problem and making people aware how to tackle. Above all, governments can make a lot of contribution by enacting policies in favour of ordinary people as it has power, funds and dedicated teams to work for public walfare.

In conclusion, although such fuels are not common in use currently on roads, down the lane people use them if correct guidence is given by the governments. It is recommended that more people should be encouraged for using alternative fuels for vehicles because it helps to maintain the balance of the mother nature.
