Over the past 50 years, there has been dramatically increased crime rate in young people. So, many people believe that violence is raised due to the presence of violent media. But, in my point of view, this statement is not completely correct since people have the right to choose what to watch and who to associate with.
Firstly, the crime rate is increased in youngers. Because lack of knowledge about violence and their effects. For instance, young people do not know how to servive in the society and they are do not know what is good and what is bad as well as they do not have experience about the media and internet. so, these are leads to improvement of crime rate.
On the other hand, the youth have right to choose what to access in the media and what is the danger information in an online platforms. For example, any media give some information about the particular topic at the same time it will ask some permissions , give some instructions and also suggestions. The violence increasing and decreasing both decisions are in their hand only. In my opinion, the cause of crime rate is poorness of decision making in young people. they are confused about the future and also their mental stress is one of the reason to rapidly increasing of violence.
Looking at the above statements than we can come to a conclusion that crime rate will not completely depends upon media and news articles it’s all about making determination. May be some people was influenced with media. But we can not say violence raised because of violent media.
