In era globalization, technology is everywhere . While the internet makes our lives much easier, many people worry about privacy and security. In my opinion, I completely agree that the dangers of losing control over our information are bigger than the benefits of the internet.
In the one hand, the internet offer great convinience. We can talk to friends the world, shop by online,and find information in seconds. For example, application google maps helps us travel without getting lost, and online banking lets us transfer money without going to a bank.
In the other hand, the security risks are very dangerous. Whe we use the internet, hacker can easily collect our data. For intance, many people have lost money because the hacker stole their password or credit card details through fake email. Moreover, social media platforms often sell our personal choices to advertising without asking us first. Once our private information is leaked on the internet, it is almost impossible to get it back.
In conclusion, even though internet bring usefull tools to our daily lives, i believe the security risks are seriously. The lost privacy of cybercrime show that we have lost control over our information, which is a big problem for everyone.
