Affluent nations should allow more displaced people to maintain their lives in their countries and offer them fundamental aid such as food and shelter. I totally agree with this proposition because rich countries are capable of doing it, and saving these people is a primary necessity of being human.

In other words, these nations have a wide range of financial resources from industry, tourism, or trade with other countries. Therefore, they would not feel any significant economic strain if they allocated money to help immigrants. For example, the United Kingdom has one of the top economies in the world and can rescue millions of emigrants by establishing a budget to help them.
Another reason is that developed countries have a moral responsibility to protect refugees from harm. This is because asylum seekers suffer from many catastrophic situations in their homelands, such as war, famine, or natural disasters. Thus, their miserable living conditions should not be overlooked by high-welfare countries. For instance, millions of Syrian men and women fled from their war-torn country to Turkey in order to protect themselves from being raped, murdered, or extorted.
