When we talk about urban areas, the dominant trait of it is the merits. One of the most positive aspects of living in the downtown area is the advantageous standard it brings to our human beings. Living in a crowded city helps people to have the opportunity to access anything in the easiest way. For instance, a person just needs to walk five minutes to reach a convenience store and 10 minutes to arrive at the hospital. By providing for almost every demand, urban areas become the most liveable places. Furthermore, one plus point that makes the downtown area become famous is the job opportunities that it provides. The urban area is the area that attracts multiple foreign companies to come and invest. Therefore, living in this area can uptick the proportion of getting a sustainable job for people.
Besides the advantages that urban areas can bring to people, there are still drawbacks to these downtown areas. Accommodating in urban areas can cost people an arm and leg. For example, people who lives in Ho Chi Minh City will need to spend twice as much as people who lives in Dong Nai to rent an apartment. Moreover, living in urban areas may threaten human health. According to environmental scientists, urban areas are the most polluted areas. Therefore, living in this area for the time being may bring several illnesses to people.
In conclusion, living in urban areas has both advantages and disadvantages. Downtown living can offer several convenience and critical opportunities. However, some issues may also happen in this area. Therefore, people should take it into consideration to see whether they want to live in the crowded area and try to balance their lifestyle while living there.
