In the last 100 years, there were discoveries that have been beneficial to the people in my nation, one of which is technology. This essay will explore the reasons and examples underlying that discovery.
Technology is commonly used nowadays in people’s daily lives. Inventors research to improve the technology as years go by. They do those inventions for two main reasons. Firstly, for convenience. People do not have to do things manually they just have to do it through technology, as a result, it makes people’s lives easier. Secondly, every invention that has been made makes the scientist famous. The fame brings money that is why scientists want to improve and invent more. That is also the scientist’s way of living.
In the Philippines, a lot of technologies that are being used in every day. Filipinos are somehow dependent to technology already. For example, people uses computer at home, at school, and even at work. In the hospital, to be specific in the laboratory, the medical technologists use different kinds of machines to analyze patient samples. It is very efficient because they do not have to do it manually which is very time-consuming. Additionally, the appliances at home like rice cookers, washing machines, refrigerators, etc. These help the household to be more productive. A lot of task can be done at the same time.
To conclude, those discoveries made in the last 100 years are really beneficial to the people. However, there are some drawbacks like the cost; but looking at the bigger picture, it is very advantageous.
