FLEX is a good chance as a high student for me and other students to participate in an academic year for exchange program in the USA. If I am accepted as a finalist to attend American high schools and live volunteer in host family, the following my personal traits and skills will help me in the host family.
Firstly, Music has been one part of my life since my early childhood. I am very talented at playing the piano as I have acquired musical knowledge for more than seven years. I think music is a great way to connect the bond with my host family around the piano and enjoy holiday music at the events. Furthermore, playing the piano can positively improve the mood, concentration of all members of the family. Consequently, it may also decrease stress, anxiety after hard work.
Moreover, I play volleyball with my classmates three times a week. Participating in playing volleyball as part of a team helps me to work closely with my teammates. Volleyball has many character-building skills such as leadership, teamwork, respect and communication. In my point of view, volleyball brings me and host family together to play in order to stay healthy and active. It offers the opportunity to create friendship bonds.
Additionally, I am interested in IT (Information Technology) and this year I have applied in specialized school in IT. We can share our practical knowledge in application in the computer usage. In summary, I can say I am responsible and punctual for the task that I was given. It means I try to follow to be responsible that helps me to gain the feeling of fulfillment of the task in time.
In conclusion, I can say I can be native member of my host family regarding the above mentioned skills.
