Band 4+: Whether or not a person achieves their aims in life is mostly related to luck. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In today’s world,a role of luck in acheving goals has become a widely discussed issue. Some people argue that achiveng success mainly depends on luck. However,I disagree with this statement and belive that hard work and determanination are more important.Althogh luck sometimes play a role.

First of all, the main cause of success is hardwork. This is because hardwork hepl people to develop their skills overtime and build patience. In other words, achieving goals demand make a lot of efforts and take years, and for all this period people should have hauge patience to get the results of own annual efforts. For instance, atletics who were start thier career from childhood, and make a lot of effort to be successfull. All this time they become more stronger and better in atlets. As a result they have been professional by the time and hardwork.

Secondly, another key reason is that a person is less likely to reach his aims if he does not have determination. In other words without this abelity people will pause or stop thier action If they will suffer defeat. Therefore, determanation help to people make a plan and stay focuse. For example, some students who could not get to high score in exams;however those who countenie to study and improvig thir score. This shows that determination plays a far more reliable role than luck.

However it is important to admit that luck also play a role tj achieveng success. Some people born into rich family or could get unexpected opprtunity, which can give people good start. For example children who born in rich family can start their business without own investments.

In conclution,a luck can be causes of success nevertheless, without hard work and determination, these advantages often do not lead to real success, so luck alone is not enough.
