Band 5+: With the development of technology children are now living in a world that is completely different to what it was 50 years ago. What problems does this cause for the society and family?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In recent years, technology development has become a great change that can help us with some difficulties that we have. However, many people are concerned that this change is oversimplifying our daily life, especially children’s lives. This essay will discuss the main reasons for this issue and suggest viable solutions to address it.

One of the main causes for this issue is the creation of telephones. 50 years ago, many children didn’t have telephones to schedule their meetings, but today they can use their mobile phones and talk to each other via online chats. As a result, a lot of teens are becoming addicted to phones, delaying their household needs, and because of this, many of them spend less time in real life with family. Furthermore, another major reason is the advent of AI models. Today, AI models replace almost every service, and they even may help many children with their tasks, such as homework. For instance, many children are relying on AI because they think it’s too boring to do something independently.

To address this issue, governments should invest a greater amount of money into entertainment facilities, which would engage children to spend more of their leisure time with their friends. Moreover, another practical solution for children is to study without any help, and in future perspective, it will allow them to broaden their minds independently.

In conclusion, while phone addiction and waste of AI pose severe threats in terms of the future, it still can be effectively managed by researching using your knowledge and investing in cinemas and amusement parks. Taking these steps will be crucial in ensuring high educational and conversational levels.
