In contemporary times, AI-powered tools receive burgeoning uses from students, particularly in classrooms, and they are increasingly utilized for replacing students’ critical thinking skills and creativity. There are several causes that are assiocated to the augmentation of AI reliance, namely due to its convenience in solving problems and its false purposes through individuals’ suggestions. However, the rise of AI dependence can be tackled involved with practical steps from schools and policymakers through campaigns and transformations in algorithms.

The emergence of AI-powered tools lead to the over-reliance in educational studies and solving scholastic problems that require thinking skills and creativity. Primarily, the development of intelligent robotic tools creates convenience for students who encounter scholastic challenges, making learners use it to replace their critical thinking skills. AI-powered tools are proven to adeptly solve students’ given problems, such as assignments or home works, through its’ intrinsic intelligence equipped for users, which intrigue more students make it do their accountable works. Consequently, the highly-intelligence mechanisms and intensive services made more students rely on it rather than using their intelligence with its assistance, delpleting learners’ creativity and their thinking skills. Another fact is that many individuals encourage the use of AI-powered tools for educational purposes without instructing learners to use it properly. The misconceptions of machinery tools for education make students understand them as solving tools that replaces their devotion of thinking.

Even though there is a rise in the dependence of robotic tools for educational purposes through superficial causes, it can be solved with interventions from schools and policymakers. Schools should implement campaigns in ways to use robotic tools for assistance rather than a personal solver, preventing students relying on it. Schools can debunk the false assumptions of Artificial purposes in education, particularly in replacing students’ time in thinking and using creativity, through compelling arguments of its use and disseminating its best use to leverage students’ intrinsic creativity. On top of that, policymakers should encourage rewriting the mechanism of AI-powered tools with the involvement of professional coders. By changing AI purpose to personal assistance, students can foster their critical thinking skills while not solely relying on AI for solving all of their problems.

In conclusion, there are profound causes that increase the utilization of machinery tools for educational works and deplete the internal creativity from students, such as their convenience in solving problems and false suggestions of its uses. Nevertheless, this occurence can be solved with school and political involvments through campaigns for using AI and rewriting AI purposes.
