With the increased world demand for energy resources, unexplored areas of the world should be discovered to get more assets. In this essay, I am going to describe two different approaches, how to answer this question.
To begin with, globalization made us more interdependent politically, economically and culturally. For instance, even if we have a war on the other side of our planet, we will also feel the repercussions. The crisis in the Middle East makes this question particularly relevant, given the fact that oil and gas prices have risen sharply worldwide. In addition, not only oil and gas resources, but also agriculture production and foodstuffs. To put it another way, life has become more difficult nowadays.
On the one hand, I concur with the opinion that humanity has to find any alternatives to prevent energy crises and improve living conditions.
On the other hand, it is quite impossible to find such alternatives as energy assets on account of that the modern world is highly interdependent. Put simply, any changes can make the global economy more vulnerable, especially for developed countries.
To sum up, there is no clear answer this question. If we want to provide a more complex response, we would need to conduct research and spend a lot of time analysing it.
