In this modern era, a large quantity of wild animals are said to be put in danger. Both of the main causes and solutions will be properly discussed in this essay.
There are several main causes for this aching problem. The major cause stems from the soaring hunt rare species for fur, antlers,… in recents years. This will not only alter the ecological stability but it will also drives many animals to the brink of extinction. To exemplify this, many wild deers are being killed by hunters only to get their antlers and sell with a highly lucrative price. Moreover, it is the loss of habitats that is also attributed to the destruction of forests such as deforestation or wildfire, and global warming. As a result, due to the lack of suitable habitats, some wild animals not being able to quickly adapt to the new environment are prone to disappear slowly. For instance, polar bears are nosediving due to ice melting resulting from global warming. Last but not least, the current environmental degradation is also of the dominant roots. An obvious illustration is the release of improperly untreated sewage to the water and land, or even the large number of plastic waste in the environment which can be ingested by animals or entangle them. In spite of those aforementioned causes, there are still a myriad of feasible solutions to tackle this critical problem. Secondly, it is advisable that we launch several campaign to raise people’s conciousness about the plummetting of wildlife. From a shifted mentality, more and more people will join hands exerting efforts to protect it.
