There has been a discussion on how people like to explore new things, whether it is new faces, new places or brand-new culture. On the other hand, there are people who prefer to keep things the same because they are familiar about it. There is no right or wrong in this matter and both sides have valid arguments.
On one hand, people who like to explore new things do this because they desire to see or understand new aspects of the world they lived in. This can be in many different forms such as culture, food, religion or just seeing new faces. The best example of this is the country of Indonesia, Indonesia is a country that is located next to Malaysia and Singapore. Indonesia is most famous for its beautiful beaches, but it is also known as one of the most multicultural diverse countries in the world.
On the other hand, people who prefer to keep things the same is because they like the familiarity about it. As human, we are known as a creature of habit, we crave for something we already know. The simplest example is that we tend to go to the same restaurant again and again because we know what to expect and that we are comfortable with it.
In my opinion, people generally lean toward keeping things the same, this is because most people fear the unknown and they are more than contend with what they are familiar with. While people who like to try new things are usually scientist, explorer or pathfinder which are either uncommon or difficult professions.
