Dear Sir or Madam,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to request help about some problems regarding my current shared accomodation.
As you know, there has been a recent change of roommate. While he is the most delightful, I cannot explain how we share the chores around here to him. I had a chat with him yesterday about this situation and both of us agreed to create a schedule that outlines which one of is responsible for the chores in a given day of the week. I demonstrated how the schedule works to him and initially he looked like he got the hang of it. He even mopped the floors voluntarily.
However, he started to slack off today. It was his turn to wash the dishes today and despite it being well past midnight right now, the dishes are yet to be washed. When I confronted him about the dishes, he claimed they should just “soak some more”
The overall mess means that everywhere I look in our room there is a distraction. It is literally impossible to get anything done right now. I would prefer a change of roommate or just want to move to another room if that is feasible.
