There is no denying the fact that some consumers are increasingly choosing to buy goods that are produced in their local area, rather than imported goods. This essay will discuss the reasons for this and if it is this a positive or a negative trend.

To begin with there are several reasons for the increase choosing for people to buy local products rather than imported one. Firstly, many individuals purchase local good to encourage local producer. In other words, when people bay local goods, they help economic growth. In addition, this lead to produce more product and develop the economy of country which lead to create more job offers and encourage producer to increase the quality of their product. For example, when a lot of people bay handmade goods, this encourages artisan to produce more.

Moreover, buying local products is a positive trend because of many reasons, the most important reason is low prices. It is a possible to say that consumers may save a lot of money when they adopt this habit. For instance, local clothes are cheaper than imported clothes and this allows to individuals with low income to bay new clothes without spending too much money. Furthermore, the quality of goods, generally local products have a better quality. For example, most of local vegetable and fruit are bioproduct without chemical and this is very important for health, and have a better taste and quality than imported one.

In conclusion there are many reasons for the increase of choosing to buy goods that are produced in their local area, rather than imported goods.it is also true that buying local products is a positive trend.
