Blockers of Life Experience
The present youth majorly rely on books, movies, and television shows, for learning purposes instead of using personal experiences. I strongly agree with this statement because the rise of easily accessible internet and growing health problems – both physical and mental – contribute to this issue.
To begin with, the modern generation has advanced in all spheres of life compared to its preceding ones, contributions such as advancing technology, and bringing inventions like the internet to life, are some of the many improvements made in this evolution, which thereby makes the daily livelihood of the people much more favourable and easy-going. This ascent of the Internet and the subsequent upsurge of its use conveys severe consequences as it strays the people away from their natural inclinations of brotherhood which in turn complicates the trajectory of human life and growth. Although this technological evolution holds harmful effects, the prevalence of its utility is quite well significant, as it has made activities like reading books, watching movies and series, and similar acts, much more simple due to the provision of wider availability and convenient accessibility facilitated through it. For instance, a young boy would prefer to watch informative movies via a screen on his device for his school assignment rather than participating in events that impart the same intel in real life which arises as a result of convenience conferred by the Internet.
Additionally, although the Internet has caused disturbances in the normal evolution of human civilization at first glance, this is immediately followed up by the multitude of health issues that arise in the population. This sudden incline of maladies in the current youth can be linked to the increasing comfortable and convenient lifestyles that essentially deprive its users of the opportunities to utilize their physical capabilities and to hone their mental strengths, as a result causing an evolutionary disconnect to their true primal roots. Physical health complications that elevate due to these life choices may include arthritis, heart diseases like palpitations, high blood pressure, and the likes, while Mental infirmities may include high anxiety, depression, and insomnia and similar conditions. It is quite evident that due to the association of convenience seamlessly blended in the everyday lives of the youth population, there is a leap in the rates of lethargy and fatigue along with other illnesses of all kinds whether it be physical, mental, or psychological, in the society. For example, a young reader from the present generation is more likely to be depressed than folks of the same age that came before him, because of the disrupt in his development pattern caused by lack of exposure to the real world.
To recapitulate, I strongly believe that the youth population of present times mostly learn by reading books or watching movies and television shows rather than learning from personal experience, which arises due to the elevation of conveniently easy-access internet and its ever-growing use paired with the resulting escalation of health-related concerns in the population.
