From a local standpoint, I think that these large shopping malls are threats to local businesses. What I mean by that is, as these shopping malls are spacious, they have more room to offer a vast variety of products to their customers. They also have the ability to advertise and grab the attention of their customers. Additionally, beside their shopping malls, they offer other amenities like restaurants or play areas for children. This makes them more appealing for people to shop there instead of at their local businesses.

And it’s more appealing for people to buy from there instead of their local shopping malls.
