I am a travel addict and have been on several holidays either with family or friends. The most recent holiday with my family and the memorable one was a trip to Jaipur. Jaipur is a fast developing city in the state of Rajasthan, the neighboring state of Gujarat. The city is famous by its name Pink City of India because of the architecture and the colour of whole city, which was painted by the ancient king of Jaipur in order to welcome the Prince of Wales. It is also famous for various of its iconic landmarks such as Hava Mahal, Amber Fort, Jantan Mantar and so on. But the most eye catching place was the Hava Mahal which I personally liked because of its architecture and precise cowings. The Mahal consists of 953 windows which gives the fort a look of honeycomb faked and the reason of having this much of windows was to allow the royal women of the ancient dynasty to observe the street life without being seen and also allows the ventilation of cool air in the Mahal. And this was the most fascinating thing that I personally like and appreciate about the fort. And also I am more interested in observing and gaining knowledge about ancient dynasty. I prefer to visit the places which have such ancient stories behind them. Also another fascinating thing about Jaipur was the Amber Fort which has nearly the same architecture and same cowings but a smaller area and smaller view.
