Band 6+: Describe a time when you helped someone. You should say: Who you helped What the situation was How you helped them And explain how you felt about helping this person.

Okay so in our busy life we don’t get that much time to go out of your boundaries as well as we don’t get that much time to help someone going out of your way. I remember once there was a lady, I wouldn’t say lady, there was an older woman who needed to go somewhere. As much as I remember she needed to take a bus for the home town. So at that time she asked me for help. I needed to add something like she was my neighbour and at that time it was like rainy season. She needed someone to drop her to the bus station. So in order to do that she booked a cab but unfortunately the cab came on time and I don’t know what happened at that time. So she asked me for the help and she told me that if you can drop me that would be great. So I instantly told her that I was going to help you. So I told her to bring the keys of my car and I took her from the bus station. At that time after reaching the bus station she thanked me and I felt like I did something very great. I think it’s a great thing if you can help someone going out of your way. So that was the time. I felt very joyful and I wouldn’t say I was on cloud nine but I felt proud of myself. So when I explained this to my mother she also felt proud of me and she told me that you should help someone whenever you get time, whenever you get this chance.
