The image depicts the present layout of a museum and its planned alterations. Overall, the most significant changes to the museums will be the establishment of a modern art exhibition along with the relocation of the entrance and several display sections.
Regarding the layout’s left section, facing Josephine Street, the staircase in the bottom will remain intact, while the marine life show above it will be converted into a store room. Furthermore, a modern art room will be added at the top left corner.
The middle part contains a restroom centrally located between the stairwells, an open atrium and a lift area, which are located from top to bottom, in that order. The first two sections will experience no change, whereas the bottom lift will be relocated to be adjacent to the other. Moreover, a new entrance will be opened on Patterson Street, which is on the bottom of the plan.
The right portion will continue to showcase mind and body, evolution and dinosaurs along the bottom wall. Although the design room in the top left corner will remain untouched, the craft room next to it and the gemstone section in the top right corner will be swapped places and the store room between them will be removed. Finally, the entrance facing Spring Street on the right will be closed, giving place to the marine life section.
