The above graph illustrates the variations in the fast food consumed by the residents of the UK namely hamburger, fish and chips and pizza over the two decades.
Overall, consumption of the two fast foods namely hamburger and fish and chips show an upward trend while pizza shows a gradual decrease over the period.
Initially, 300 people ate pizza in the UK and was the most consumed food in 1970 which gradually decreased to 200 in 1985 and then slightly increased to more than 200 in the year 1990. In 1990, pizzas was the most eaten fast food in the UK among the three fast foods mentioned.
Both the fish and chips and hamburger consumption have consistently risen over the 20 year period. In the beginning of the period, less than 100 individuals consumed both the fast foods with fish and chips being slightly greater than hamburger. At first, there was a gradual rise and then a sudden rise in the count of both the fast food consumption. Fish and chips and hamburger consumption rate reached the peak in 1990 with a count of 500 and 290, respectively. However, fish and chips stands as the highest consumed fast food at the period end.
