The time we live in is the era of technology which controls most of our lives. Some of the population believe that a majority of them favor art over digital tools. In my opinion, individuals prioritize technology more than art.
In the life of modernization, artists start to lose their creativity because of people’s use of technology. It leads them to become distant from art, which is good for their soul, and less appreciation from people who create it. From my point of view, people use AI for every single thing, even for making digital art, reading summaries of books, and other things which cause frustration and loss of jobs for painters and writers.
The other problematic side is students are made to believe that it is a bad career option for living; in order to have a good salary, they have to choose majors like science, engineering, and so on. This results in a decline in the number of art-related majors. With that, children who are likely to be interested in drawing or composing are forced to drift apart from their dreams.
In conclusion, in today’s society digital life outweighs creativity, which is a negative development in one’s life. However, let us hope that people will realize the importance of art and will appreciate it in the future.
