The line graph shows how many international tourists visited three different countries in a twenty-year period, beginning in 2000.
Overall, all three countries experienced an increase in international tourist arrivals over the 20-year period, although at different rates. Country A saw the most dramatic growth, eventually surpassing the others, while Country C consistently had the lowest figures throughout the period.
In 2000, all three countries started with relatively similar numbers of international tourists, ranging between 10 and 15 million. Country B initially led with about 15 million visitors, followed closely by Country A at 12 million, and Country C at around 10 million. Over the next decade, the number of tourists visiting Country A rose steadily, overtaking Country B in approximately 2010. Meanwhile, Country B showed only moderate growth during this time, and Country C’s figures remained relatively flat.
From 2010 to 2020, Country A experienced a sharp surge in international arrivals, reaching a peak of nearly 40 million tourists by 2020. In contrast, growth in Country B plateaued, with tourist numbers leveling off at around 25 million. Country C also saw a gradual rise in visitors, but its total remained the lowest among the three, ending the period with just over 15 million tourists.
