Here I would like to describe about an English lesson that I had and enjoyed it a lot. It was about the traditions, cultures and customs of the states of India. Lately, in the 10th standard, I remembered, my teacher divided the whole class into 29 groups and each group has two members. The members have to demonstrate the tradition and culture of particular state which is given to them. As I remember that I belong, I reside in Punjab. Fortunately, I get to act on the Punjab state. I want to speak fluently about the Punjab state and also with the help of handmade cards through which I demonstrate the traditions and cultures in a good way so that everyone can learn in a lucid way. Teacher also makes a map of India and each group has to stand in a particular state which is given to them. I enjoyed that lesson very much because it is very captivating for everyone and it is very kind of interactive lessons through which we can indulge in that type of activity and also enhance our English skills. Through which we learnt a lot of much about traditions and cultures, not only about traditions and cultures but also about the English lessons, the grammar rules, how to use it and how to speak fluently. Sometimes people don’t have the courage to speak in the public in front of a whole class but the lesson is very important.
