I would like to share an expression that not only enjoyable but also significantly enhance my creative writing. I had this class during my high school years, which took place in a cozy classroom with colorful porters and comfortable seating. My teacher, Miss Thuy, was known for her engaging teaching methods with every lesson interacting. She started class with a warm-up activity in which students have to share their memories with the students, and she was very vulnerable using sensory details such as what they saw, heard, or felt. After the warm-up, Miss Thuy required to go outside for a sensory work, and then we encouraged her to observe our surroundings closely and close closely and jot down sensory details. Back into the classroom, we were given a task, and using the sensory details we have gathered and become a storyteller to share our story. Same as for each student’s such as our improved writing instruction and adding different verbastic. Overall, this lesson made a strong impression not only because of the creativity, activities, but also due to the positive environment furthered by Miss Thuy. It told me that it is important to have sensory details in telling stories that stimulated me to explore my thoughts more vividly.
