The line graph illustrates the amount of books which four village libraries lent in four different months in 2014 and the pie chart demonstrates the percentage of five kinds of books were borrowed over the period. Overall, the number of books of villages libraries witnessed an upward trend and while fiction and biography emerged as the most favorable books, self-help ones were the least popular.
Upon closer inspection, the amount of books from West Eaton and Church Mount started at 50 in June, after which saw a significant increase with the same figure at 150 in September. Conversely, at the beginning, the quantity of books of Ryeslip library reach 300, nearly doubling the lower amount at the end of the period. In the first month, 250 books from Sutton Wood was borrowed, experiencing a dramatic fluctuation and subsequently rising to 300 in September.
In terms of pie chart, fiction took lead in the proportion of book borrowed at 43%, which was 24% higher than that of biography. Secondly, the share of science and history intriguingly had the same figure with 14%. Finally, self-help books were less attractive than others as it just made up one-tenths of the total book borrowed.
