The graph illustrates the changes in prices of some precious metals namely gold, platinum and palladium. Over the course of eight year from 2013 to 2021.
Overall, Palladium was the least expensive among other but over the years its price rose and it became the most costly metal. Gold and Platinum were priced similarly initially but gold became more expensive down the line the platinum decreased in value.
Price of Palladium fluctuated a bit in the starting years from 2013 to 2016 be remain steady around 550 dollars per ounces. The cost of Palladium rose after 2016 and sky rocketed till the end to became the most expensive material among other at just under 2500 dollars per ounces in the year 2021.
The cost of gold and platinum were pretty much equal in the starting years, however after 2015 the gold became more expensive and its price increased to 1750 dollars per ounces at the end of 2021. In contrast to this, the cost of Platinum after 2015 reduced to around 900 dollars per ounces till 2020 after which it increased a bit.
