The illustration depicts how a solar-powered water pump and water filter produce drinking water. Overall, there are two main phases of the process: the collection of raw water by using solar energy and water purification through a filter.
Firstly, the collection of raw water starts with a specific panel absorbing sunlight, this energy, through a converter, is transformed into electricity. This so-called “solar-energy”,then, is supplied for the operation of a pump in order to deliver water from an underground digged well to a large storage tank, which is highly located on a wooden platform, ready for the purification process.
The remaining part produces drinking water majorly by a filter, which helps extract purified water from the raw substance through a tube. Finally, after having fresh water, using the tap on the pipe, workers can take drinking water from the big tank, filling it into a movable container so that they can be delivered to consumers.
