After rising significantly in March it dramatically declines to around 20 mm in April marking the end of beginning of winter. In May it increased to around 40mm before receding to just above 20 mm in June. In the month of July it dropped below 20 mm and stayed relatively constant with a value of below 20 mm throughout August, September and October. With the onset of the Monsoon, Australia acquires around 40 mm of rainfall before falling back to May levels in December.
The line graph is almost similar to the last year but there is a slight difference. There is a slight fall back in the months of January, February, April, August, October and December while in May and June there is a minute increase in the received rainfall.
