In the Olympic games , does professional athletes have a fair advantage compared to other athletes because of the funds they receive and how they train? So, should they be not allowed for the Olympics?
I partially agree to this and as far as my opinion is concerned, It is not a complete fair game if they are allowed to participate in the Olympics. But I can also say that it is not only about the training and funding which makes them a better athlete.
From the perspective of professional sports person, there is this quote which I used to hear from a lot of people ,”Practice brings perfection”. So, it is true they are being favoured ,better training makes them a skilled athlete and with that fundings help them lead a life without struggles.
On the other hand, at the end of the day , anything is possible in sports. So, there is no doubt that they can also win any game yet they had to overcome a lot of problems in terms of money and so many other factors. For an instance, there are so many men and women around the globe who had no financial support , little time to train and faced many struggles. In spite of that they overcame those and won so many games as an individual athlete.
To conclude, Yes, it is true that it is unfair to other Olympic athletes when professionals are provided with special care but doesn’t make them a winner and nothing but a tough competitor.
