The table compares the GDP, annual economic growth, and GDP per capita of several economically largest countries in the world in 2019. Overall, it is clear that the growth of some countries that have the largest GDP per capita were relatively low, whereas countries that had low GDP per capita grew rapidly annually.
In terms of the GDP, the GDP of the US was $ 21.4, which was the largest GDP in the countries in the list. In addition, the US indicated the biggest GDP per capita, $ 65,300. Although China’s GDP showed $14.3 which was the second largest, the GDP per capita was low, which was 10,260. Regarding Japan and Gemany, these countries showed relatively low GDP, $5.1 and $ 3.9, respectively. Also, the GDP per capita of Japan and Germany was almost the same and relatively low. Furtheremore, India showed the lowest dollars in each category, GDP and GDP per capita.
On the other hand, it can be seen a different trend in annual growth compared to GDP per capita. While China and India had the low GDP per capita, their growth were the biggest, 6.1% and 4.2 %, respectively. In contrast, the US did not grow significantly, which was 2.2 %. Moreover, Japan and Gemany indicated small growth compared to other countries.
