A glance at the given diagram reveals anlight emitting diode flashlight’s components and operation.
As depicted, an LED flashlight comprises 7 main components in order to make the bulb illuminate, namely plastic case, batteries, slide switch, mental spring, circuit and mental switch contacts. Notably, its operation is based on electric circuit generated from those components.
In terms of its structure, the LED flashlight has two cylindrical batteries affixed to the metal spring at the base and the bulb on the top in a straight-line order. As a result, this can produce one half of the electric circuits inside the light. Another one half circuit is made by electric wiring connecting the bulb with the switch on the handle. Outwardly, the Led flashlight is covered by plastic case serving as insulation.
Regarding to its operation, as the batteries are inserted properly, it has provided enough energy in order to generate electricity. Subsequently, to turn on the light, people need to slide the switch, which connects between the metal contacts of the switch and the circuit.
