Since the 1980s the world has experienced a stunning science evolution that started with computer creation and followed by other developments that are an essential part of our daily lives. However, there is a dispute between tech advocates who consider this science necessary to make our lives easier. In contrast, the opponents affirm that tech overexposure has complicated our quality of life. Both perspectives and examples will be analysed below in this document.
The first viewpoint to analyse is the tech assertors who admired science evolution and its impact on our daily lives. This group stands out for devices such as computers. Internet, bluetooth and others. They mentioned the worldwide business increase on features like productivity and economy which opened new job opportunities for IT companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Intel and more recently Nvidia. Additionally, they support an equal access to information and education, broken barriers such a distance, poverty and disabilities. Nowadays, any of those conditions would be an impediment to better learning and future opportunities.
On the other hand, the oppositors argue stressful situations, some of these related to security breaches. Although Information Technology has progressed on data protection, simultaneously, hackers have improved their resources and tools. One example occurred this year with the Medicare breach when thousands of passwords and data were stolen.
In my opinion, technology development is absolutely necessary for our progress as a species. However, Government regulation must go further or one step ahead to prevent future incidents on population. Moreover, it is crucial a thrust compromise from Tech Companies for a world wellness and prosperity.
