The diagrams illustrate various phases a lady bird go through during its life time and several parts of its body.
Overall, there are four stages in the life cycle of a lady bird, which begins when the eggs are laid by adult ladybugs from which larva emerge. These larvae then passes through the pupa stage to become a fully developed adult ladybug beginning the cycle again. The main parts of a ladybug are its head, red elytra, wings, abdomen, antenna, eyes, and legs.
Laying eggs on a leaf begins the life cycle of a ladybug, this stage is called egg stage. Larvae are born from these eggs in a time of 2 to 5 days. After that, the larval stage begins which is a period of 21 days. Then the pupa stage begins, where they stick themselves to a leaf for seven days in the form of a pupa. Finally, an adult ladybug comes out of the pupa starting the cycle again.
When it comes to the bodily structure of a lady bird, its main part is the head which has two antennas and eyes situated in the front. The head is connected to its abdomen and covered with pronotum. The abdomen consists of its wings that are well covered with red elytras which are a protective covering for its main body. Its has six legs that are connected to its main body, two in front, two in back, and one on each side.
