The map illustrates the changes that have taken place in a town in a period of 50 years. Overall, there have been significant changes development in the town, with a large increase in the number of buildings and public facilities.
In 1900, the land around the town area was surrounded by oranges farm on the north, mandarins farm on the south-east and dairy form on the west. There was only one main road which ran through the southern part of the town along with the river. The first major development began in 1950 with the establishment of packing sheds. Meanwhile, the oranges farm replaced the operation of the mandarins farm whereas the dairy farm was replaced by lemons and grapefruit farm.
Over the next 5 decades, the town grew dramatically with a development of a local museum and a tourist shop. Additionally, a park was built for the social activities.
