The maps demonstrate some changes to Frenton over the period of 22 years, starting in 1990.
Overall, Frenton experienced considerable changes during the period shown. The most noticeable differences between the two maps are the appearance of new flats and the expansion of the hospital.
As can be seen from the maps, there were many facilities that remained unchanged over the period in terms of location, acres and function such as: school, library and high street. To the west of the high street, the playing field with trees and trees area were converted into Blocks of Flats and Technopark, respectively. In addition, the hospital located to the north of the library was extended nearly double after 22 years. There was a Bank next to the Hospital in 1990, which was widened and transformed into a restaurant in 2012.
Turning to the east of the high street, we can see that it is notable that the area of café and park was replaced by hotel and gold course. The theater, shops and resident building in 1990 became the cinema, supermarket and blocks of flats, respectively. Finally, a new flat was established in close proximity to the northwest of the blocks of flats.
