Dear Sir,
I am writing to address my concern regarding an abandoned vehicle that was left on the street near my house several weeks ago, as it is causing significant inconvenience for the local residents.
The car is a 1969 Ford Mustang model, an American Muscle car, mostly used by adventure enthusiasts in the 1970s. The automobile is now in a dilapidated condition, with significant damage to its exteriors and an unresponsive engine. Due to a lack of maintenance, it now lies unattended with a layer of dust on its surface in our vicinity.
The car is causing numerous issues to the local residents. Firstly, the car alarm is functional, and creates a shrill noise whenever leaves or birds come in contact with the external surface. This noise causes distress among elderly citizens who suffer from heart ailments as they are unable to bear loud noises. Furthermore, robbers often attempt to steal the car at night, leading to a feeling of panic among citizens during late hours due to suspicious activities in a relatively safe neighborhood. Such instances have troubled local residents near my house since the past few weeks.
Considering the financial abilities of your council, I believe this issue can be alleviated by cordoning off an area around the car to prevent access to it, and engaging the old car agency near our vicinity that has relevant transport systems to tow away abandoned vehicles for a certain fee.
Yours faithfully
James Elliot
