The maps depict the transformation of a college’s location over a 18-year period, from 2006 to 2024, highlighting significant changes in infrastructure, main roads, and public amenities.
Overall, Lynwich College has seen substantial urban development, with vivid expansions in the north-east of the area. The most significant changes include the construction of new buildings and roads, as well as tree reduction.
In 2006, the college was characterized by a relatively simple layout with a single path in the center with a turn, connecting both college buildings first and second to a library in the east. The western side of the college featured a flourished area, while a sports field mostly occupied the eastern part. A car park located on top of the library in the north-east.
By 2024, notable changes had been made to the college’s infrastructure. A road in the middle is upgraded to a roundabout with five paths in different directions and a cafeteria in the center of it. This improvement provides access for busses, starting their work at a bus station on the north side, to drive to each corner of the college. The area for car parking has been divided due to the place for bike storage. The library now is moved to the southwest, occupying between two college campuses. On its past place, however, there is a sports center, having free access to the road.
