The bar chart shows how many British and international male and female students majored in Computer Science at a university in the UK from 2010 to 2012.
Overall, regardless of sexes, the number of students taking a course in the field rose after three years. Additionally, there were consistently more British home students compared to their international counterparts who attended the same course.
As for male students, in 2010, there were 40 British home students majoring in Computer Science; however, this figure sharply dropped to approximately 24 one year later before recovering to nearly 42 in 2012. In contrast, this major initially had 20 international attendees, but this number increased to nearly 23 after a year, making it comparable with British ones. After that, significantly more international students (around 39) enrolled in Computer Science.
Concerning female students, Computer Science had a figure of around 32 of them in 2010, and this number surged to approximately 45 and stabilised from that point onwards. Notably, the number of international enrollees in this course rose by an increment of two every year (from around 15 to 20).
