The chart below demonstrate the number of males and females in further education in Britain across three different periods, indicating wether they studied full-time or part-time. Overall part-time education was more popular than part time for both genders in three periods.
When In 1970 and 71 about million men studying part-time education, around women 700 thousand educated here.However in 1990 and 91 women which studied part time job is more than men somewhere around 100 thousands.Around 1980 and 81 both gender is almost the same.
Regarding full-time education both gender men and women experienced growth. The number of men is surge from approximately 100 thousand 1970/71 to around 250 thousand in 1990 and 91. Similarly the number of women who studied full-time is also increased from 50 thousand 1970/71 to around 150 thousand over the same period
To sum up, women illustrate the most notable growth in further education especially in part-time job.
