The sustainability and Environment are the most interesting discussion theme at this year besides artificial intellegence. it can relate with anything which include works, business, education. Take example for manufacturing process, yield is one of the biggest concerns to ensure the productivity in operations still on the track. when yield increased, the waste of production get lower. the opposite way, when yield decreased, the waste of production get higher.
table above is describe the number of waste production in millions of tonnes in different countries over 20 years. over 20 years, there is increment waste of production from 5 countries except korea. the correlation between waste of production is with factory expansion from each countries, the higher number of factory, it should be the higher number of waste production. on the other hand, in 1990 to 2000 there is a decrement in waste production in korea from 31 to 19. in my opinion related with what happened in korea, the government implemented regulations in sustainability and environment. this is along with compliance in industry players to fulfill the compliance of regulations.
on the top of that, what we could see is the impact of decrement waste in korea. this is the big achievement that can be implemented in other countries not only korea but all countries in the world. korea be the example of the commitment and compliance to support the sustainability and environment to green world.
